About The Beautiful Game Quiz

Free football trivia, made by people who actually watch the game

The Beautiful Game Quiz is a free football quiz site. There is no paywall, no forced sign-up, and no app to download — you open the page and you play. We built it because most football trivia online is either shallow, buried in ads, or locked behind an account. We wanted something you could pick up in ten seconds and still find genuinely hard.

What you can play

There are 16 game modes, including:

• Name the player from his old clubs — the classic journeyman puzzle.
• Guess the transfer fee — how much did that deal really cost?
• Higher or lower — compare stats, values and records.
• Career path, nationality, position and more.
• The Daily Challenge — a fresh set every single day.

You can play as a guest, or make a free account to save your score, earn experience and climb the leaderboard.

Where the questions come from

Our questions are drawn from well-established football history and public records — careers, transfers, tournaments and stats. We are a small independent project and we are still in beta, so if you ever spot something wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Accuracy matters to us.

The blog

Alongside the quiz we write about the game — the great journeymen, the records that shouldn't be possible, the tournament shocks that still don't feel real. You can read it all on the blog.
